Suspended Fall
One of the Unique + Connected series, this is a photo of a red leaf that was suspended in mid air by a web made a spider I affectionately named Shelob that lived under the gutter on my front porch. While the leaf had sat there all morning fighting the breeze, it was gone just minutes after taking the photo.
Taken in October 2023.
The frame is made of Sweetgum and measures approximately 14.25” x 16.25”.
The image is printed on hand-made paper infused with the Sweetgum sawdust collected while making the frame.
